Job description

Cape Ann Savings Bank is seeking a team oriented, positive, and outgoing professional for a full-time Teller position.

The Bank Teller will complete deposits, withdrawals, and other financial interactions while providing excellent customer service to all customers.

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent math skills. Trustworthiness and the ability to act with integrity. 
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Thorough understanding of customer service.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working directly with the public is preferred.
  • Cashier experience or student staff member of high school branch desirable.
  • Must be able to lift as much as 15 pounds at times.
  • May need to stand for long periods of time.
Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with banking transactions and inquiries.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
  • Maintain accurate records of debits and credits while ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Utilize financial software to process transactions efficiently.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling financial products and services to enhance customer relationships.
Expected scheduled days are Monday through Friday (8 hour shifts) and rotating Saturdays.
