Job description

Job Summary
Senior Trust Life is a fast-growing insurance agency seeking an IT & Compliance Specialist to manage our office technology infrastructure and support our regulatory data standards. This role bridges the gap between hands-on technical executionโ€”such as hardware deployment and network maintenanceโ€”and safeguarding our operational compliance.
The ideal candidate possesses strong fundamental networking skills, a meticulous eye for infrastructure organization, and a serious commitment to maintaining industry-specific data security standards. While we are willing to train the right individual on specific insurance regulations, you must possess the technical foundation and professional maturity to reliably execute these requirements from day one.
Compensation & Schedule
  • Status: Full-Time
  • Compensation: $20.00 โ€“ $25.00 per hour (Commensurate with experience)
  • Location: On-site / Office-based
Key Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure & Network Management
    • Configure, deploy, and maintain routers, switches, and structured cabling to ensure maximum network uptime.
    • Perform physical "rack and stack" installations of servers, switches, and essential corporate IT hardware.
    • Conduct routine server maintenance, performance monitoring, and network troubleshooting.
    • Maintain strict office rack standards through organized structured cabling, clear port mapping, and meticulous cable labeling.
  • Compliance & Data Security
    • Align IT infrastructure and asset deployment with standard insurance agency compliance and data privacy regulations.
    • Deploy, update, and audit enterprise applications and system software to prevent security vulnerabilities.
    • Maintain accurate inventory, documentation, and security logs for all workstations, peripheral devices, and network access points.
  • Technical Support & Operations
    • Provide efficient desktop, workstation, printer, and peripheral support both on-site and via secure remote access tools.
    • Interface directly with department managers and leadership to evaluate, understand, and fulfill evolving business technology needs.
    • Coordinate with external IT vendors or technology representatives as necessary to execute small-scale infrastructure projects.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Education: Associate or Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Information Systems, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related technical field (relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
  • Technical Expertise: Strong, hands-on familiarity with server hardware, network architecture, and desktop deployment.
  • Core Knowledge: Foundational understanding of the ISO OSI model, network layers, and secure data transmission protocols.
  • Compliance Mindset: High professional maturity with an aptitude for learning and enforcing industry regulatory requirements. Prior exposure to compliance frameworks is a major advantage.
  • Professional Skills: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly translate technical requirements and compliance protocols to non-technical staff.
