We are seeking a dynamic, proactive and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving our company's sales growth by generating leads and selling our job board services to businesses and meet revenue targets. This role involves understanding the hiring needs of clients and providing them with tailored solutions in finding the best talent for their needs to streamline their recruitment process. This is a field/office position.
Essential Functions include:
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to consistently meet or exceed monthly revenue goals.
  • Prospect and generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, Social Media prospecting, tradeshow events, and referrals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the CRM and other reporting sources, documenting sales activity, detailed client interactions, and more.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify key decision makers.
  • Follow a defined sales process while also remaining adaptable to the needs of the company and clients.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with prospective clients, serving as a trusted advisor and understanding their unique recruitment needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as Customer Success and Marketing, to ensure a superior client experience in forms of marketing resources, the transition from sales to customer success, and ongoing support.
  • Conduct compelling product demonstrations through web conferencing/in-person and effectively articulate how our Job Board can solve clients' hiring challenges and improve their talent acquisition strategies.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Provide exceptional service to clients throughout the sales cycle and beyond, promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests to maintain strong client satisfaction.

Job Qualifications include:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1 year of field sales experience preferred, in a commission-based structure, preferably in the job board or recruitment industry.
  • Talent Acquisition/Recruitment experience a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with diverse stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Excellent presentation, written, verbal, and phone skills, with the ability to tailor messages to address clients' needs, diagnose pain points, and prescribe the best solutions to achieve client success.
  • Ability to deliver compelling sales presentations along with strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience collaborating with sales teams regarding new strategy development and finding/testing innovative solutions to improve sales is preferred.
  • Ability to handle multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using Excel, PowerPoint, CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads, track progress, and analyze sales data is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
