We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-Time Dental Hygienist to deliver high-quality patient care and support our mission of promoting excellent oral health. This role involves performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene, and working collaboratively with dentists and support staff. Dental hygienist

Perform thorough dental cleanings and oral health assessments to evaluate patient conditions
Apply aseptic techniques to maintain a safe, sterile environment during all procedures
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive dental care to encourage healthy habits
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and patient charts in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Take patient medical histories and update health charts as part of comprehensive patient care management
Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to provide four-handed dentistry and seamless patient treatment
Utilize panoramic imaging, cone beam computed tomography (CBCT), extraoral radiography, bitewing, and periapical x-rays as needed
Perform root planing, dental scaling, and other periodontal procedures within scope of practice
Stay current on advances in dental hygiene, anatomy, medical terminology, and clinic protocols
Ensure all dental equipment is properly maintained, sterilized, and ready for use

Part-time $40 - $50 per hour

Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Friday to Sunday: Closed
Part-time schedule, approximately 20 hours per week

Proficient in panoramic imaging, CBCT, dental scaling, root planing, and radiographic techniques
Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, medical terminology, and patient care principles
Experience with patient charting, managing dental records, and electronic health systems
Excellent communication skills with patients and team members
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dental clinic environment
Must be able to commute or relocate to Greensboro, GA

3-5 years dental hygienist experience preferred; entry-level considered
Familiarity with dental assisting practices a plus
