Job description

Seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care Mercy Health - St. Rita's in Lima, Ohio is seeking a family nurse practitioner to provide Urgent Care. Position Highlights: 12 hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.

8 hour Sunday shifts. Monday - Saturday 8 AM to 8 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 6 PM. Urgent care of all age groups.

Birth to end of life. Assess/evaluate, diagnose, establish plan of care for patients. Provide treatment - including referrals to other healthcare providers as necessary.

Perform physical assessments on patients and complete patient histories. Order medications, treatments, labs, etc. as described and permitted under the Ohio State Medical Board and the Mercy Health St.

Rita's credentialing boards. Coordinate patient care, assessment. Counsel and advise patients regarding concerns.

This position includes holiday and weekend coverage on a rotating basis as well as coverage for ATO. Willing to pick up extra shifts as needed. Education and Skills Required: Current licensure with the state of Ohio as a Nurse Practitioner.
