Job description

Junior NetSuite Administrator
In this role, you will help ensure our NetSuite platform runs smoothly, support end-users across various departments, and contribute to ongoing system enhancements. This is a hands-on position requiring attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and grow their NetSuite expertise while supporting a leading technology services company.
Key Responsibilities
  • NetSuite Platform Administration: Configure and customize the NetSuite platform (including roles, permissions, workflows, saved searches, and reports) to meet business needs. Assist with system integrations, data migrations, and routine updates to maintain optimal performance.
  • User Support & Training: Serve as a primary point of contact for NetSuite user support. Troubleshoot issues, resolve system inquiries, and provide timely assistance to team members. Conduct end-user training and create documentation for new features or processes.
  • Data Management & Reporting: Ensure data integrity across all NetSuite modules by performing regular audits and maintenance. Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and KPIs to provide stakeholders with actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Business Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, sales, etc.) to gather business requirements and translate them into NetSuite solutions. Assist in designing and implementing workflow improvements and new NetSuite functionalities that drive efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Customization & Development Support: Work with the senior NetSuite administrator and external consultants to test and deploy customizations (fields, forms, scripts) and third-party integrations. Help ensure that custom solutions align with business processes and NetSuite best practices.
  • System Monitoring & Upgrades: Monitor system performance and coordinate with the IT team on any NetSuite version releases or patches. Stay up-to-date with NetSuite updates and industry best practices, proactively recommending enhancements or new features to leverage.
  • Documentation: Create and update technical and process documentation for NetSuite configurations and procedures. Maintain an organized knowledge base of NetSuite workflows, configurations, and troubleshooting tips for internal use.

Required Qualifications (Skills & Experience)
  • NetSuite Experience: 1+ years of experience in NetSuite. Hands-on familiarity with NetSuite's core modules such as Inventory, Order Management, Projects, and basic Financials is expected.
  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of financial and operational business processes (e.g. Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay cycles) Experience creating and refining saved searches, custom reports, and dashboards in NetSuite. Proficiency in Excel and comfort with data analysis or data import tools.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset. Proven ability to troubleshoot system issues and identify root causes quickly.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with end-users and cross-functional teams. A customer-service mindset to support colleagues of varying technical skill levels.
  • Organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines. Self-motivated and eager to learn new NetSuite features and adapt to changing business needs.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
  • NetSuite Certification: Certification such as NetSuite Administrator or SuiteFoundation is a plus
  • Advanced NetSuite Skills: Exposure to SuiteScript or SuiteFlow (workflow) customizations, and experience with third-party integrations (e.g. connecting NetSuite with CRM, eCommerce or middleware platforms like HubSpot, Shopify, Celigo, Boomi, etc.)
  • Additional Technical Experience: Familiarity with SQL or relational databases for data analysis and migration. Experience with other business systems (CRM, inventory management tools) or participating in a full NetSuite implementation project.
  • General Knowledge: Background or coursework in accounting, finance, or supply chain management to better understand the context of NetSuite transactions and processes

Tools & Methodologies: Experience using project management or support ticketing tools (e.g. Jira, Asana, ServiceNow) in an IT project environment is beneficial
