Q-Lab Corporation is currently seeking an Entry Level Staff Accountant. Reporting to the Controller, this role is responsible for assisting in the monthly close process, including preparation of journal entries, monitoring and reconciling balance sheet accounts, and maintaining a fixed asset system across multiple entities in multiple countries, among other duties.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the monthly close process, including preparation of journal entries
  • Monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Learn and assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
  • Involved in the analysis of financial information
  • Assist with sales and property tax compliance, including preparation of returns
  • Provide management with weekly and monthly KPI reports
  • Assist in annual planning process
  • Maintain fixed asset system across multiple entities in multiple countries
  • Assist in inventory cost management and G/L reconciliation to internal inventory system
  • Ad hoc reporting as needed

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 1-3 years of experience preferred
  • Analytical and detail-oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills:
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment or accredited lab
  • Public Accounting experience a plus
