Job Description
We are currently looking for an Entry Level Laboratory Technician for the Construction Materials Testing Lab.
Candidate's responsibilities to perform laboratory tests related to Concrete, Soil, Asphalt, Masonry, and other construction materials in accordance with applicable testing standards/methods.
  • Performing a variety of laboratory standardized tests on soils and construction materials using established methods laboratory testing tasks.
  • Report results of testing as per ASTM or other standardized requirements.
  • Perform Laboratory maintenance.
  • Perform maintenance and verifications of laboratory testing equipment.
  • Assist in construction materials testing if needed.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have technical knowledge/understanding and desire to learn technical skills. Training will be provided. Candidate will be expected to obtain ACI Lab Concrete Testing Certifications within 6 months of hiring.
Strong mathematic skills.
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
