Land Surveyor / Survey Technician

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio Area
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $22.50 - $55.00 per hour (based on experience, qualifications, and licensure)

Join Our Growing Survey Team

We are seeking motivated Land Surveyors and Survey Technicians of all experience levels to join our team in the greater Cincinnati area. Whether you're just beginning your career or bring 30+ years of surveying experience, we'd like to speak with you.

Professional Surveyor (PS) licensure is welcomed but not required. We value strong work ethic, professionalism, and a commitment to quality and safety above all else.

Our team utilizes modern surveying technology, including Trimble GPS systems, robotic total stations, Trimble Business Center (TBC), and Autodesk Civil 3D, providing employees with the tools needed to perform accurate, efficient, and high-quality survey work.

Responsibilities

Depending on experience and qualifications, duties may include:

  • Performing boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, utility, and construction surveys
  • Operating Trimble GPS equipment, robotic total stations, data collectors, and related survey technology
  • Collecting and documenting accurate field data
  • Processing survey data using Trimble Business Center (TBC)
  • Assisting with survey calculations, mapping, and drafting in Civil 3D
  • Working closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients
  • Maintaining survey equipment and company vehicles
  • Following company safety standards and industry best practices

Qualifications

Required

  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and terrain conditions
  • Ability to perform physical field work for a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Dependable work ethic and positive attitude

Preferred

  • Previous land surveying experience
  • Professional Surveyor (PS) licensure
  • Degree or coursework in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with Trimble survey equipment
  • Familiarity with Trimble Business Center (TBC), Civil 3D, CAD, or other survey data processing software

Compensation

  • Entry-Level Positions: Starting at $22.50/hour
  • Experienced Survey Professionals: Up to $55.00/hour
