HL Mando America Corporation has multiple openings for the position of Software Engineer III(Ref# SEIII71PRM).

Position may telecommute / work remotely 20% of the time.

Job Duties: Responsible for embedded software development for automotive products such as Electric Power Steering, Braking, and Propulsion Systems. Work on writing embedded code in C language, developing MATLAB models for Auto Coding, and working on AUTOSAR stack configuration. Follow ISO 26262 safety processes as well as ASPICE 3.1 processes for developing industry standard compliant embedded software. Be part of the embedded software development team working on automotive products development which includes architecture design and integration of embedded software modules. Design and develop software algorithms to meet software requirements. Work on software integration and configuration of AUTOSAR Basic Software modules using AUTOSAR toolchains. Perform software unit verification following internal processes. Perform bench level testing of integrated software. Work on root cause, corrective actions for software defects. Support technical reviews both internal and external with customers. Support both current production as well as new pursuit activities for software. Provide technical guidance and mentor personnel within the software development team. Use of electrical hardware, microprocessor architecture, Embedded C programming, Python, MATLAB, Simulink, CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape, CAN, FlexRay, and LIN.

Requirements: Bachelorโ€™s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Embedded Software Engineer, Test Engineer, Systems Engineer, or related experience. Position requires 6 months of experience with embedded software, Simulink, CAN, and AUTOSAR. 40hrs/week.
