You'll likely participate in code reviews, attend team meetings, and collaborate with product managers and designers to understand requirements. Over time, you'll gain exposure to larger codebases, learn new frameworks or tools, and gradually take on more complex assignments. This early experience is valuable for building technical skills and understanding software development workflows in a professional setting.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an entry level software engineer, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Entry Level Software Engineer, you generally need a solid understanding of programming languages (such as Java, Python, or C++), problem-solving abilities, and a relevant degree in computer science or a related field. Familiarity with version control systems like Git, software development frameworks, and basic knowledge of databases are commonly required, and certifications such as CompTIA IT Fundamentals or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals can be beneficial.
