A growing industrial manufacturing organization is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production operations, process improvement initiatives, and new product introductions. This position plays a key role in optimizing manufacturing processes, improving operational efficiency, and supporting cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys a hands-on manufacturing environment and has experience working with custom-engineered products, industrial equipment, fabrication, machining, and assembly operations.
Key Responsibilities - Support new product introductions by evaluating manufacturing methods, tooling requirements, and assembly processes.
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, quality, safety, and throughput.
- Develop and implement workflow improvements, equipment layouts, and production process enhancements.
- Partner with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams to drive operational improvements.
- Lead or support engineering change implementation and process documentation activities.
- Identify production challenges, assess risks, and develop practical solutions to improve performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, cost reduction, and operational excellence.
- Assist with equipment upgrades, manufacturing system improvements, and process standardization efforts.
- Stay current on manufacturing technologies, industry trends, and best practices to support innovation and growth.
- Support troubleshooting efforts related to production, equipment, and customer-driven issues.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
- 3-7 years of manufacturing engineering experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting fabrication, machining, assembly, or engineered equipment manufacturing operations.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, workflow optimization, and production systems.
- Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar 3D modeling platforms.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing data management tools.
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience working collaboratively with operations, quality, engineering, and production teams.
Preferred Experience - Industrial equipment, material handling, conveying systems, or heavy manufacturing experience.
- Exposure to machining, welding, fabrication, hydraulics, electrical systems, and assembly operations.
- Lean Six Sigma certification or demonstrated continuous improvement project experience.
- Experience with GD&T and manufacturing process development.

- Compensation: $90,000 - $105,000 Base Salary
