We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Software Engineer to join our development team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about coding, eager to learn, and excited to contribute to real-world applications. You will work alongside experienced engineers to design, develop, and maintain software solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plans, develops, modifies, implements, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains software-programming applications in compliance to company quality system design controls and applicable standards.
  • Diagnoses all irregular performance and specify code changes and other actions required to return units to specification standards.
  • Applies knowledge of electrical engineering principals to design analog/digital/embedded microcontroller/communications/interfaces systems.
  • May be involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, troubleshooting, or repair of products.
  • Is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of tasks.
  • Demonstrates a certain degree of creativity and latitude.
  • Follows development schedule and timeframes.
  • Operates within the company theme of Cost Effective by Design.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 1+ year of experience in software development or related technical work (internships or academic projects may be considered)
  • Experience programming in C/C++ and/or C# (C Sharp)
  • Familiarity with assembly language is a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to support ongoing projects, including improving designs, performance, and efficiency
  • Ability to create clear and detailed technical documentation (e.g., requirements, test plans, and reports)
