Northrop Grumman is seeking Associate Engineer, Embedded Software - Manufacturing Test Engineering (IRCM) . This position will be located at our Mission Systems sector in Rolling Meadows, IL.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Manufacturing Test Engineering (IRCM) team.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • The Manufacturing Software Engineers are expected to be problem solvers with the ability to provide results that are innovative and often achieved through collaboration across functional groups.

Basic Qualifications:

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

  • Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) from an accredited institution

  • Be majoring in or having majored in Computer Science, Electrical and/or Computer Engineering or related STEM degree.

  • Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

  • The ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs

  • Experience using C# / C / C++

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a minimum of a Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher

  • Experience in electronic hardware Manufacturing environment and/or electronic hardware software or firmware design environment preferred.

  • Experience with use of lab test instruments such as (but not limited to) Oscilloscope, Signal Generator, Power Supplies, Power Meters.

  • Experience developing automated test software

  • Prior software troubleshooting experience of test equipment or prime hardware.

  • Experience developing in Visual Studios

  • Experience developing in LabView / TestStand

  • Experience using GitHub.

  • Active DoD Security Clearance.

Salary Range:

$72,700 to $109,100
