Job description

Position Summary – Field Laborer - Field Technician: As a Field Service Laborer you will be responsible for loading and unloading equipment for jobs and assist in service, repair, and installation of water pump systems. This is an entry-level position with lots of growth opportunity.

Responsibility Summary Field Laborer – Field Technician

  • Identify and pull hose, pipe, fittings, and pumps in performance of maintenance and repair activities
  • Utilize motorized equipment handling machinery to safely load/unload equipment.
  • Assist in securing loads.
  • Ensure yard and loading areas are clear of debris and trash and equipment is organized and easy to access.
  • Follow all safety processes and procedures.
  • Travels locally as needed to assist with mobilization/demobilization of systems on customer job sites.
  • Assists in connecting pipes, setting pumps, and dismantling equipment/accessories when the project is complete.
  • Assist in diagnosing issues with diesel powered heavy equipment.

Qualification Summary Field Laborer – Field Technician

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • General mechanical aptitude
  • Prior experience in a hands-on, field-based (i.e., outdoor) position
  • Prior experience operating heavy equipment and/or machinery preferred
  • Diesel engine experience preferred but not required
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel locally as needed
  • Ability to read, write legibly and communicate effectively
  • Ability to safely operate diesel-powered hydraulic lifting equipment
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds
