Job description

Machine Operator-Paper Converting

Do you enjoy operating machines? Our client in Green Bay is looking for workers to join their team in distributing their clients industrial, safety, and janitorial supplies and solutions.

Position –Machine Operator-Paper Converting

Job Location –Green Bay, WI

Employment Term –Regular, Temp-to-Hire

Employment Type –Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) –Days (6:00am-6:00pm),Nights (6:00pm-6:00am), 2-2-3 schedule

Starting Pay –Starting at $18, based on experience

Benefits –Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus

Required Education –High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience –At least 1 year of experience

As a machine operator you will be expected to be a team player and help where needed to include operating, setup, and tear down of machines; packaging; cleaning duties; and any other labor as needed.

Responsibilities

-Set up or operate and adjust any of the following: rewinding/folding, slitting, banding, blowing, wrapping, packing, or stacking

-Ensure that the machine is meeting efficiency requirements

-Package products to specifications

-Perform quality checks, communicate, and correct where necessary

-Some cleaning is expected

-Communicates well and can adapt to varying work conditions

Qualifications

-Able to lift 50 pounds

-Able to stand (12 hours), bend, lift, twist as needed

-Mechanically inclined preferred but not required
