Job description

Join our team as a Construction Laborer specializing in the assembly of shops, garages, and equipment sheds using Post frame style construction. This role involves wood framing, erecting wood trusses, and installing metal roofing and siding. Working primarily with a small crew, you will support skilled carpenters and independently perform various installation and construction tasks at multiple job sites.

Responsibilities

  • Handle and transport building materials on site
  • Assist in wood framing and truss assembly
  • Install metal roofing and siding components
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Support site cleanup and maintenance
  • Load and unload construction materials and equipment
  • Work under the direction of the Lead Carpenter with general supervision
  • Occasionally travel between multiple job sites
