Job description

Leveraging a Zero EHS impact, Zero Failure philosophy, the Maintenance & Reliability Supervisor, reporting to the Maintenance Manager leads people and managing the work order execution processes to increase the uptime of plant equipment and assets observing SIG, regulatory, and industry accepted best-practice standards.

How You Will Make an Impact:

Ensure EHS compliance and continuous improvement in EHS performance

Ensure all safety issues or concerns are addressed and understood through job safety reviews and permit authorizations

Manage the work order management processes to prioritize work identification, approval, planning, scheduling, reassigning unscheduled work, executing, and closing out maintenance work orders

Ensure execution of the preventative maintenance program

Directly supervise a team of maintenance technicians, including hiring, onboarding, and managing day-to-day team performance

Manage time and attendance, ensuring accurate recordkeeping and adherence to site policies

Own the full performance management cycle, setting clear individual goals aligned with the Planning, Performance Management Cycle, conducting regular performance reviews, delivering coaching and feedback, and initiating corrective action when necessary

Identify skills gaps and ensure all personnel are trained and qualified to perform their assigned duties

Responsible for time management related to lost time for work orders and departmental overtime

Assist with problem-solving and RCA processes that resolve reliability problems and reduce operational risks

Support execution of the turnaround/shutdown process

Follow maintenance playbook including monitoring, measuring and auditing to ensure execution of standard work processes

Oversee contractors and contractor work assignments in a way that maximizes completion of value-added work measured by associated KPIs

Satisfy all Corporate Quality Requirements and ISO9001 Quality Management System

Practice Responsible Care14001 through active participationin the Responsible Care Management System and adhere to the Guiding Principles of Responsible Care 14001
