As a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) III, you'll work as part of a collaborative and high-performing team providing your expertise to deliver technical solutions to a highly secure federal environment
What you'll do:
  • Design, deploy, and maintain mission-critical application workloads on virtualized or containerized environments (e.g., VMware amd Kubernetes), ensuring scalability, availability, and compliance with government requirements.
  • Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform to provision, manage, and standardize infrastructure across highly secure environments.
  • Develop and sustain automated CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and configuration management workflows to support reliable software delivery and operational observability across development, integration, staging, and production environments.
  • Administer, optimize, and troubleshoot Kubernetes platforms supporting containerized applications, platform services, storage integrations, and production workloads.
  • Engineer and maintain enterprise load-balancing, traffic management, and application delivery services utilizing F5 technologies to support highly available mission-critical applications.
  • Develop and maintain automation tooling using PowerShell, Bash, and related scripting technologies to improve operational efficiency, platform consistency, and infrastructure reliability.
  • Provision, configure, and maintain developer environments and toolchains to support rapid, secure, and efficient development workflows, enabling mission-aligned software delivery.
  • Identify developer friction across the software development lifecycle and implement solutions to reduce that friction while providing developer-first platforms and environments.
  • Establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence through deep technical expertise and provide innovative solutions aligned with mission requirements.

Job Requirements
What you'll need to succeed:
  • Active U.S. Government Issued Top Secret security clearance (or higher level classification).
  • Certification meeting DoD 8140 (e.g., Security+, or higher).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related engineering field is preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
  • 7+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, Systems Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or Operations roles supporting highly available production systems
  • Demonstrated experience blending software engineering and systems administration practices to support highly available, scalable applications.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for infrastructure provisioning, lifecycle management, and environment standardization.
  • Strong hands-on experience administering and supporting Kubernetes-based container platforms in production environments.
  • Experience with Ansible automation, Desired State Configuration, and infrastructure orchestration frameworks.
  • Experience developing and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.
  • Strong scripting and automation experience using PowerShell and/or Bash.
  • Experience with F5 enterprise load-balancing, traffic management, application delivery, and high-availability solutions.
  • Experience designing and managing monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions to meet defined Service Level Objectives.
  • Experience leading or participating in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Experience supporting container-native storage and object storage solutions (e.g., MinIO, S3-compatible services, and PortWorx).
  • Ability to contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up in a mission-critical operational environment.

SALARY RANGE: $170-220K.
The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:
  • The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience
  • The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
  • Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation

This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies, which may include:
