Position Description:
The LGV Programmer works in the Customer Service department and supports the development, testing, and implementation of LGV software and hardware used in automated material-handling systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the implementation, testing, and installation of LGV machines produced by E80 on the customer's premises.
  • Support the customization and modification of pre-existing software in active systems.
  • Contribute to the design and execution of basic software applications using languages such as C#,
  • Visual Basic, SQL, and PLC languages (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Beckhoff, HMIs, etc.).
  • Generate software simulations and modeling activities.
  • Troubleshoot issues and support updates for equipment and systems within clients' automated material-handling operations.
  • Collaborate with system engineering and senior team members to address customer inquiries and gather technical requirements.
  • Attend on-site meetings with senior engineers to support discussions on equipment use and optimization.
  • Communicate effectively and precisely as a customer-facing technical employee.
  • Follow established procedures to ensure equipment is safe and optimized for performance.
Qualifications:
  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field.
  • Knowledge of programming languages (C#, Codesys, SQL) or PLC logic.
  • Willingness to undertake travel (>75%).
  • Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
  • Availability to support the team outside regular working hours when needed.
  • Strong motivation to learn industrial automation and LGV technologies and processes.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
