Salary: $3000 Sign on Bonus

Job Description Pelvic Physical Therapist

Job Qualifications


  • Hold a current and valid license in the state of Alabama or completed an accredited university program with a pending final examination and licensing.

  • Comply with the APTA Code of Ethics.

  • Follow guidelines associated with patient confidentiality (HIPPA).

  • Able to communicate effectively with patients, families, co-workers, and other health care professionals.

  • Perform the physical tasks required of a manual physical therapist.
  • Certified completion of entry-level pelvic floor class (Herman and Wallace level 1 or APTA level 1 preferred) OR proof of completed pelvic floor internship.

Clinical Responsibilities


  • Be proficient in performing the clinical duties of a licensed physical therapist as outlined by the Alabama State Practice Act and the APTA to include but not limited to initial evaluations, patient treatments, re-evaluations, discharges, and clinical supervision of PTAs and Aides.

Business / Charting Responsibilities


  • Provide accurate and timely documentation that complies with state laws, company quality assurance standards, and insurance regulations.


Responsibilities of NTS Team Membership


  • Knowledge of and adherence to the vision and strategic plan of NTS, as well as the policies and procedures as outlined by the Employee Handbook.

  • Possess traits of a lifelong learner, including active participation in the NTS mentoring program, co-treatments as the schedule allows, and willingness to attend on-site and off-site continuing education courses offered outside of normal business hours.

  • Be available to participate in occasional marketing events outside of normal business hours.

  • Attend, be prepared and participate in bi-weekly WIG / Team meetings and monthly clinic meetings.
