Location: In-Office | Symmetrik MD | Miami, FL

Internship Length: 10–12 Weeks

Schedule: 4–6 Hours, 3 Days Per Week

Position Type: Student Internship


Overview

The Digital Marketing & Brand Communications Intern will support Symmetrik MD’s digital presence through social media, content creation, brand storytelling, campaign support, and marketing communications.

This 10–12 week internship is designed for a student interested in marketing, communications, advertising, public relations, digital media, and/or content creation who wants hands-on experience working within a growing aesthetic medicine brand.

The intern will work directly with the Symmetrik MD team to contribute creative ideas, help capture and develop content, participate in campaigns and events, and gain practical exposure to how a brand builds awareness, engagement, and community across digital platforms.


Duties

  • Assist with creating short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Stories, and other digital platforms
  • Film and edit engaging video content featuring providers, treatments, education, team members, and behind-the-scenes moments
  • Capture photography and video throughout the practice
  • Brainstorm content ideas, hooks, campaigns, trends, and creative concepts
  • Assist with writing captions and social media copy consistent with the Symmetrik MD brand voice
  • Help organize and maintain the social media content calendar
  • Repurpose existing content into new formats
  • Research social media trends, sounds, competitors, creators, and emerging content opportunities
  • Assist with tracking basic social media performance and identifying which content performs well
  • Participate in professional photoshoots, events, campaigns, launches, and content-production days
  • Support broader digital marketing and brand communication initiatives as assigned
  • Contribute new ideas proactively and take increasing ownership as the internship progresses


Skills

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, Digital Media, Business, or a related field
  • Strong interest in social media, digital marketing, branding, and content creation
  • Creative eye for visual content and storytelling
  • Comfortable filming photos and videos using a smartphone
