Job Description
The Digital Marketing Specialist, SEO is responsible for executing and optimizing organic search strategies that improve website visibility, qualified traffic, lead generation, and business growth. This role focuses on technical SEO, content optimization, and performance analysis while collaborating with content, web development, analytics, and product marketing teams. The Specialist leverages AI tools, automation, and data-driven insights to improve SEO efficiency, optimize content for traditional search engines and AI-powered search experiences, and stay current with evolving search technologies including Google's AI Overviews, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Execute and optimize SEO initiatives that improve organic visibility, qualified traffic, and lead generation.
  • Conduct keyword, topic, competitor, and search intent research to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Optimize websites for traditional search engines as well as AI-powered search experiences through Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), entity optimization, and structured content strategies.
  • Perform technical SEO audits and recommend improvements related to crawlability, indexing, Core Web Vitals, structured data, internal linking, and site architecture while supporting implementation efforts.
  • Partner with web development teams to implement technical SEO recommendations and validate results.
  • Optimize internal linking, site structure, and taxonomy to improve discoverability and user experience.
  • Collaborate with content marketing to create search-first content aligned with user intent, topical authority, semantic search, and marketing objectives.
  • Stay informed on Google algorithm updates, AI search developments, and SEO best practices while recommending optimization opportunities.
  • Monitor SEO performance using GA4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, and SEO platforms, providing regular reporting and actionable insights.
  • Leverage AI tools and automation to improve keyword research, content optimization, technical analysis, reporting, and workflow efficiency.
  • Stay current with evolving search technologies and AI-powered search platforms while analyzing SEO performance, identifying optimization opportunities, and supporting ongoing testing to improve search visibility and user engagement.

Qualifications
YOU'VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of experience in SEO, including technical SEO, content optimization, and performance analysis.
  • Experience using Google Search Console, GA4, and SEO tools to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Experience using AI tools to improve SEO workflows, content development, research, or analysis.
  • The ability to execute and continuously improve SEO initiatives through keyword research, content optimization, technical SEO, and data-driven recommendations that improve organic performance.
  • The ability to identify and resolve technical SEO issues related to crawling, indexing, structured data, Core Web Vitals, site architecture, and page experience.
  • The ability to optimize digital content for search intent, semantic relevance, topical authority, and user experience to improve organic visibility and engagement.
  • The ability to understand and apply insights about a specific group of consumers or businesses that Relias aims to reach with its products and solutions.

IT WOULD BE NICE IF YOU:
  • Experience with enterprise SEO platforms such as Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, BrightEdge, or similar.
  • Familiarity with schema markup and structured data.
  • Familiarity with optimizing content for AI Overviews, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms.
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or Gemini for SEO workflows.
  • Experience in healthcare, education, SaaS, or another regulated industry.
