Security System Administrator
Norwalk, CA
12+ months
Required Skills/Exp:
Minimum of five (5) years of IT experience. Previous experience as a system administrator or comparable role for a large-sized company.
Previous experience working with information security and evaluating, implementing, and recommending solutions.
Previous work experiencing supporting and maintaining a virtual server environment with VMWare. Previous work experience supporting a network made up of network switches.
Previous work experience supporting, designing, and maintaining backup systems.
Previous work experience investigating and assisting with network security issues.
Previous experience implementing and troubleshooting of SCAP in multiple flavors of Linux operating systems.
Previous experience implementing and ongoing administration of networks conforming to NIST 800-171 and/or NIST 800-53 Cybersecurity Frameworks (CF).
Two (2) years of experience implementing and managing air-gapped computer systems networks in Department of Defence Acquisition Rules (DFARS) or Industrial Control Systems Environments (ICSE). Two (2) years of experience in managing and administering various Secure Event Information Management (SEIM) software platforms.
Two (2) years of experience installing, configuring, administering ration, and troubleshooting of Carbon Black Security Software.
Two (2) years of experience years administering ClearPass server.
Two (2) years of experience implementing and managing Security Requirements for FIPS 140-1/2/3 Cryptographic Modules (CM).
Requires the possession of (a) bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Professional Certifications for Information Technology (examples MCSE, VMWare Certified Professional, etc.) - strongly desired.
IT Security Certifications (i.e., CISSP, CISM, etc.) - highly desired.
