Specializing in new construction, renovation, retrofit, and service work across warehouse, distribution, pharmaceutical, healthcare, industrial, residential, and retail markets. Due to continued growth, we are looking to add aย Entry Level Security Technicianย to ourย Beach Lake, PAย team. In this role, you will support our security and low-voltage technicians with the installation, wiring, and setup of security systems, assisting with hands-on field work and job site preparation. Success in this role requires a strong willingness to learn, basic mechanical and electrical aptitude, and the ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team in a fast-paced field environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with wiring, running cable, mounting devices, and completing simple installations.
  • Help set up equipment, prepare the job site, and pull materials.
  • Clean up job sites and maintain tools and equipment.
  • Follow instructions and learn to read drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • Participate in system testing, documentation, and basic diagnostics under guidance.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interest in security and low-voltage technical work.
  • Ability to follow directions and a willingness to learn.
  • Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Some technical, trade, or relevant coursework.
  • Experience with basic tools and hand tools.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and handle materials, tools, and equipment throughout the workday.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working in tight or elevated spaces.
  • Work is performed at active job sites and construction environments, with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and outdoor conditions.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and follow all site safety requirements.

The wage for this role is $20 to $24 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
