Job description

JOB TITLE

General Affairs Security Technical Specialist

WHAT YOU WILL DO

What You Will Do 
    Developing the security devices installation plan, defining the safety level of each area, and following up on all security-related installations
    Developing and implementing security policies, protocols, and procedures
    Monitor surveillance systems and conduct regular security checks to ensure compliance with security protocols.
    Controlling budgets for security operations
    Recruiting, training, and supervising security staff and vendors, ensuring all personnel adhere to safety guidelines and protocols.
    Conduct regular risk assessments and devise measures to mitigate identified risks.
    Investigate security incidents and promptly report findings to management.
    Maintain a secure environment for plant assets and minimize potential security breaches.
    Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders to enhance plant security.
    Coordinate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to security management.
    Conduct security awareness training for all employees and contractors.
    Develop emergency response plans and ensure all staff are trained in emergency procedures.

HMGMA is the abbreviation of Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America. It is Hyundai Motor Group's first dedicated EV mass-production plant and is an innovative plant with cutting-edge production technology applied.
 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

Required:
    Minimum 1-3 years experience in security management, preferably in a plant or industrial setting, or a bachelor's degree in security management or a related field
    Experience establishing plant security protocols and plans and Strong knowledge of security best practices and risk management.
    Experience in recruiting, training, and supervising experience for security officers and guards
    Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
Preferred:
    More than one year of law enforcement experience
    Good understanding of the Security and Access H/W
    Good understanding of the Security Camera and Access system
    IT & network knowledge
    Essential Computer skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) 
    Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies.
    Familiarity with surveillance and alarm systems.
    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong command of the English language (written and spoken) is essential for safety, communication, documentation, and collaboration across the organization.

Physical Demands
While in Office:
This position is primarily sedentary and requires working at a desk and computer for extended periods. Responsibilities may include:
    Occasional lifting of office supplies (up to 15 pounds)
    Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and handling documents
    Ability to sit, stand, and walk within the office environment as needed
When in Production Area (if applicable):
    Standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended durations
    Repeated lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of materials and products (up to 25-30 pounds)
    Manual dexterity for handling power tools, machinery, or production equipment
    Working in environments that may be noisy, hot, or require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
    Ability to climb ladders or stairs and operate equipment safely and effectively
    Capability to learn and work on multiple production processes, as required
    Adequate visual and auditory abilities to identify safety hazards and communicate clearly
    Consistent and punctual attendance
    Ability to collaborate and perform effectively in a team-oriented environment
