Summary
Coordinator, Paid Search
The role we are looking to fill is for a Coordinator of Paid Search. This is an entry-level position for someone who has a curious nature, a strong desire to learn and solve problems, and is passionate about the digital industry, media trends, and search behavior. The Coordinator will assist Specialists and Supervisors in helping to execute and manage paid search campaigns. In this position, you will conduct research and understand client business models, products/services, verticals, and competition.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience required; previous search marketing or related digital field preferred
  • Software: Proficiency in Google Docs and MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
  • Communication: strong written and verbal communication required.
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and close attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
  • Assists Specialists and Supervisors to execute and manage paid search campaigns. This will involve, budget management, task management, ad copywriting, analyzing data, extracting findings from the data and billing.

  • Proactively takes part in internal meetings, helps to solve problems, and stays up to date on industry updates.
  • Works closely with Specialists and Supervisors to maintain project plans.

Position Summary
The Search Specialist plays an integral role in execution of the paid search channel in outlining effective strategy and techniques for accounts, as well as implementing the paid search discipline, in addition to presenting recommendations and strategy to client. The Search Specialist will report into the Search Supervisor. This role requires a strong understanding of paid search, as well as of all aspects of performance marketing, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to effectively drive day-to-day tactical execution of the campaigns and continually exceed client expectations. To be successful in this position, an individual must be able to shift focus to different types of projects, a quick learner, and proficient with Excel and be able to work productively with various team members with minimal supervision.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Drive day-to-day tactical execution of the campaigns based on client expectations
  • Utilize paid search accounts to enhance SEM campaigns
  • Create advanced SEM/SEO strategies based on web site analytics and campaign data
  • Evaluate product offering, traffic, landing page quality, content, design, security, payment options, shipping options, demographics of prospective customers when determining keywords and campaigns

Develop campaign strategy (with supervision) to guide initiatives that will accomplish client's campaign goals
Create campaign reports and present to client on a regular basis
  • Review and analyze client's sites for areas that need to improved, deleted, or revised
  • Review and analyze client's paid search campaigns for improvements in key performance indicators such as cost per click
  • Prepare detailed strategy reports
