Scrubber Technician
Job Title: Scrubber Technician (Entry Level)
Location: Austin / Taylor, TX
Pay Rate: $19–$20/hour (depending on experience and skillset)
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Future: May transition to 12-hour shifts, including swing shifts (alternating day and night shifts)
Position Overview
We are seeking entry-level Scrubber Technicians to support preventive maintenance and service operations on gas scrubber systems. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals interested in building a long-term career in technical or field service environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on gas scrubber systems
- Inspect, clean, and replace consumable parts and components
- Conduct basic system inspections for leaks, corrosion, and abnormal conditions
- Monitor operating parameters and system status during maintenance activities
- Support senior technicians and engineers during service work
- Follow all site safety procedures, including PPE and LOTO requirements
- Provide on-site technical support during scheduled maintenance
- Complete maintenance checklists, service reports, and documentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment
- Travel to field sites and perform on-site work as required
Required Skills

Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Entry-level role – no prior scrubber experience required
- High school diploma or higher
- Interest in hands-on technical work and machinery
- Ability to pass a background check
- Comfortable working in cleanroom attire (smocks)
- Physically able to lift, carry, and handle equipment up to 45–55 lbs
- Willing to wear a full-face respirator when required
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical education or related field experience
- Previous experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, or industrial environments
- Completion of college or technical training
