Scrubber Technician
Job Title: Scrubber Technician (Entry Level)
Location: Austin / Taylor, TX
Pay Rate: $19–$20/hour (depending on experience and skillset)
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Future: May transition to 12-hour shifts, including swing shifts (alternating day and night shifts)
Position Overview
We are seeking entry-level Scrubber Technicians to support preventive maintenance and service operations on gas scrubber systems. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals interested in building a long-term career in technical or field service environments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on gas scrubber systems
  • Inspect, clean, and replace consumable parts and components
  • Conduct basic system inspections for leaks, corrosion, and abnormal conditions
  • Monitor operating parameters and system status during maintenance activities
  • Support senior technicians and engineers during service work
  • Follow all site safety procedures, including PPE and LOTO requirements
  • Provide on-site technical support during scheduled maintenance
  • Complete maintenance checklists, service reports, and documentation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment
  • Travel to field sites and perform on-site work as required
Required Skills
Hard Skills:
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and hands-on technical ability
  • Familiarity with hand tools and maintenance equipment
  • Understanding of safety procedures and work instructions

Qualifications

  • Physically able to lift, carry, and handle equipment up to 45–55 lbs
  • Willing to wear a full-face respirator when required
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical education or related field experience
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, or industrial environments
  • Completion of college or technical training
