Position Summary
This is an entry level position to learn Tool and Die Making. Under supervisor will learn to read blueprints, use gages and equipment for the purpose of making and reworking header and secondary tooling.
THIS IS A 1st SHIFT POSITION.
Responsibilities
  • Utilize and understand the purpose and operation of required tool room equipment.
  • Learn how to interpret tooling and production prints.
  • Utilize and understand all tool room inspection equipment.
  • Maintains cleanliness of work area.
  • Follows company safety guidelines.
  • Performs preventative maintenance when required.
  • Learn preventative maintenance procedures.
  • All other duties assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
  • Strong Mechanical ability.
  • General shop knowledge.
  • Experience with a variety of hand tools.
  • Strong math skills.
  • HS Diploma/GED OR Relevant experience.
  • Strong both verbal and written communication skills.
