Job description

This Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the platform, including backend services, frontend applications, database architecture, and IIOT integrations. This role works closely with technical support, leadership, and manufacturing team to build reliable software that operates in real-world manufacturing environments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software components.
  • Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and database structures.
  • Develop and enhance user-facing interfaces.
  • Integrate with IIOT devices, machine controllers, and third-party systems including but not limited to ERP platforms.
  • Enhance performance, scalability, and system reliability.
  • Write clean optimized, and well documented code.
  • Troubleshoot software defects and performance issues.
  • Contribute to architecture design and decision making.
  • Contribute to software releases, version control, and CI/CD processes.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with customers, partners and internal team members.

  • Comfortable troubleshooting software and hardware, including Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, and machine configurations.

  • Ability to follow documented processes.

  • Experience with version control systems. (Git)

  • Basic understanding of networking, databases, and system integrations in highly regulated environments.

  • Familiarity in Type Script, C#, Python, and other programming languages.

  • Familiarity in frameworks such as .NET, Prisma, and SQL Server.

**Preferred Qualifications **

  • Experience with technical support, IT, or customer-facing technical roles.
  • Familiarity with SaaS platforms or industrial/manufacturing environments.
  • Experience delivering training or user support.
