Operations Analyst
Location: SAFCO Corporate Headquarters, Pompano Beach, Florida
Where Precision Meets Purpose
A strong career in operations isn’t built by simply processing paperwork. It’s built by understanding how work moves through an organization, identifying where improvements can be made, and developing solutions that make the business more accurate, efficient, and effective.
At SAFCO, the Operations Analyst plays an important role in both the day-to-day management of vehicle titles and the continued improvement of processes throughout our Titles and Operations functions. This is an opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who is comfortable getting into the weeds of daily operations while also using analytical and technical skills to automate reporting, improve workflows, and support informed business decisions.
This is an in-office position located at our corporate headquarters in Pompano Beach, Florida. Candidates must currently live in the area or be willing to relocate.
Position Summary
The Operations Analyst is responsible for processing, tracking, and managing vehicle title documents for financed vehicles across multiple states. This includes ensuring accurate title recording and lien placement, maintaining title inventories, resolving discrepancies, and supporting the timely handling of documents.
In addition to these core responsibilities, the Operations Analyst will evaluate operational processes, develop reports and dashboards, and help identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and risk mitigation throughout the Titles and Operations Department.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Receive repossessed-vehicle titles from tag offices and coordinate the submission of titles to the appropriate auctions.
  • Prepare check requests for payments to tag offices.
  • Ensure the accurate placement of liens and the timely release of liens following loan payoff.
  • Maintain accurate paper and electronic title inventories.
  • File and mail documents to auctions to support vehicle sales and title processing.
  • Review title statuses, investigate discrepancies, and proactively resolve issues.
  • Support the Loss Mitigation Department with title-related needs.
  • Assist with title audits and report reconciliation.
  • Analyze workflows to identify opportunities for process improvement and greater operational efficiency.
  • Build reports using SQL and Python to automate processes and reporting.
  • Create dashboards using data-visualization software to support operational decision-making.
  • Develop and present ideas to senior leadership regarding risk mitigation and operational precision.
  • Support the Finance Department with forecasting, modeling, and work involving our capital-markets partners and securitizations.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, dealers, and internal teams by telephone, email, and Microsoft Teams.
What You Bring to the Role
  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Zero to two years of professional experience. Recent graduates looking to begin their careers are encouraged to apply.
  • A willingness to handle hands-on daily responsibilities, including manual processing and filing, while also driving operational excellence and workflow improvements.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities and exceptional attention to detail.
  • SQL or Python experience is a plus.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish or English and Portuguese is preferred but not required.
Build Your Future With SAFCO
If you are ready to combine operational precision with analytical problem-solving, we invite you to apply. At SAFCO, your ideas will be heard, your work will have a meaningful impact, and you will have the opportunity to grow while helping improve the processes that move our business forward.
