Job description

Business Development Representative

Territory Hunter - Industrial Services

Redi industrial is growing.

We operate in the industrial world - plants, mines, refineries, infrastructure, utilities. The places that don't shut down just because it's inconvenient. Safety matters. Production matters. Reputation matters.

We're looking for a Business Development Representative who wants to own a territory and build something that lasts.

This is not a desk sales job. This is not inbound lead management. This is boots on the ground, face-to-face relationship building.

If you want to sit behind a screen all day, this won't be a fit. If you want to build real accounts and see your name tied to real projects, keep reading.

What You'll Do

  • Own and develop a defined geographic territory.
  • Identify and pursue high-value industrial accounts.
  • Get Redi on first-call lists.
  • Build relationships with plant managers, engineers, maintenance leaders, and procurement.
  • Prospect consistently - not when things get slow.
  • Generate opportunities and move them through the pipeline.
  • Coordinate closely with operations to ensure we deliver what we promise.
  • Represent Redi at job walks, pre-bid meetings, and industry events.
  • Track activity and opportunity progress in CRM (we measure what matters).

This is a hunter role. You are expected to create opportunity - not wait for it.

How We Support You

You won't be left on an island.

When you open doors, we show up with you.

  • Field Support - Experienced superintendents, project managers, and operators who can walk a site and speak confidently about execution.
  • Subject Matter Experts - Service-line leaders who can support technical conversations and help you win complex scopes.
  • Sales Leadership Backing - Direct support from Business Development leadership to strategize accounts, structure pursuit plans, and remove obstacles.
  • Lunch & Learn Resources - Budget, materials, and internal coordination to host professional, well-executed customer events.
  • Marketing & Swag Support - Professional capability statements, one-sheets, branded materials, and high-quality swag to amplify your presence in the field.
  • CRM & Process Infrastructure - Defined pipeline stages, reporting, and accountability so you always know where you stand.

We expect you to hunt - but we equip you to win.

What Winning Looks Like

  • You generate consistent, qualified opportunities.
  • You close profitable work.
  • Operations trusts what you bring in.
  • Customers call you first.
  • You build repeat business, not one-offs.
  • Your territory grows year over year.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience (industrial, construction, energy, utilities preferred).
  • Comfortable prospecting and initiating conversations.
  • Ability to travel up to 70% of the time with overnight stays to be expected.
  • Able to walk a job site and have a real conversation about scope.
  • Organized enough to manage pipeline and follow-ups without being babysat.
  • Professional, confident, and direct.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within territory.

Bonus points if you:

  • Understand industrial services.
  • Have existing relationships in your territory.
  • Speak both English and Spanish.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary (DOE)
  • Performance-based incentive structure
  • Company vehicle or allowance (territory dependent)
  • Full benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision
  • 401(k) with match
  • PTO
  • A company that backs its people and stands behind its work

We're a family-owned company with serious growth plans. We invest in people who produce.

About Redi Industrial

We do what we say - safely, skillfully, and without excuses.

We operate with a field-first mindset. We value reliability over flash. We build long-term partnerships, not transactional sales.

If you want to build a book of business inside an industrial organization that is expanding across multiple states - and you want real support behind, you - this is your shot.
