Responsibilities
As a Business Development Center Representative, you will play an important role in creating a positive experience for our customers and helping them take the next step toward purchasing or servicing a vehicle.
Responsibilities include:
  • Interact with customers by phone, email, and online chat to answer questions and schedule dealership appointments.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while offering helpful information and solutions.
  • Document customer interactions, comments, and requests accurately in the CRM.
  • Schedule follow-up communication when an appointment is not immediately made.
  • Use established scripts and processes to effectively schedule appointments.
  • Confirm scheduled appointments with customers.
  • Maintain and update the BDC appointment board.
  • Contact customers who miss appointments and assist with rescheduling.
  • Follow up with the appropriate department to determine whether appointments were kept and document the outcome.
  • Schedule future follow-up as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in the database.
  • Consistently work toward and achieve monthly performance goals.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Previous BDC experience or strong customer service/retail experience, preferably in a call-center or dealership environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to work in a fun, competitive, team-oriented environment.
  • Comfort and proficiency with technology, including computers, mobile devices, and video communication.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • A professional appearance and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
