Sales Assistant - Outside Sales

Level Entry Position Type Full Time Job Shift Day

Description

Eagle Distributing is seeking a self-motivated, highly-organized "people person" who will assist the Account Sales Representatives in producing maximum sales and distribution of draft and/or package products and providing quality service to customers.

The Sales Assistant's primary duty is to fill in for the Account Sales Representative when needed and/or to supplement the Account Sales Representative's efforts to achieve sales volume and merchandising goals while effectively presenting the Company's brands to the retailer and the consumer. The Sales Assistant is expected to learn and master the Company's internal sales processes and procedures in order to effectively mirror the activities of the Account Sales Representative in monitoring and controlling inventory levels for each account, including restocking all coolers and in-store space and displays to provide maximum availability of products, while maintaining quality control and freshness standards. The Sales Assistant is responsible for developing and maintaining strong, productive relationships with all customers to facilitate sales.

We offer an excellent pay and benefits package, including medical, dental, and 401(k) plans, paid vacation and personal leave, plus more. This entry-level sales position's compensation will depend upon previous education, sales experience and/or beverage distribution knowledge.

Qualifications

We're looking for a great communicator with good knowledge of the Memphis market, or similar markets, who wants to learn the business and help us drive sales and results through strong marketing program execution, great relationships with customers, innovative merchandising, and good attention to detail combined with excellent follow-through. We are looking for a person who has the potential to become a true sales professionalin actions, appearance, and results.

Qualified candidates will have a valid driver's license and proof of personal automobile insurance with a clean driving record and will be able to lift up to 60 pounds repetitiously. Some college and/or sales experience would be helpful in this position.
