Job description

Lasalle Network is hiring for a rapidly growing company, with an increasing volume of active projects and safety managers stretched thin in the field. We're adding a Safety Coordinator to bridge the gap between our corporate office and project sites - taking administrative and coordination work off the plates of field safety managers so they can stay focused on jobsite safety, not paperwork.
This is a net-new position created to keep pace with company growth. The Safety Coordinator will be based primarily at the corporate office, serving as the connective tissue between new-hire onboarding, safety documentation, training coordination, and our field safety team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for processing new-hire safety documentation, including collecting and uploading OSHA cards and related certifications to internal platforms
  • Coordinate and help schedule warehouse-based safety training and orientation for new hires prior to their transfer to field project teams
  • Maintain and update digital safety records and compliance platforms, transferring data provided by field safety managers into company systems
  • Act as a liaison between the corporate office and field/project teams, ensuring safety documentation, onboarding status, and training records stay current and accessible
  • Coordinate materials ordering for safety equipment and supplies needed across active job sites
  • Manage the O'Hare Airport badging process for employees requiring site access, including tracking application status and following up on outstanding requirements
  • Field incoming phone calls and administrative requests related to safety coordination, training scheduling, and documentation
  • Support the Senior Safety Manager (Chicago) by absorbing administrative/coordination workload, allowing field safety leadership to focus on jobsite presence

What Success Looks Like
  • New hires move efficiently from onboarding/training to field deployment with complete, accurate safety documentation
  • Field safety managers spend less time on data entry and more time on active jobsite safety management
  • O'Hare badging and similar site-access requirements are processed smoothly with minimal delays for field personnel

Qualifications
  • Prior experience in safety administration, coordination, or a related construction/field-services support role preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage documentation across multiple digital platforms
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally between corporate/office staff and field-based teams
  • Experience with OSHA documentation and new-hire compliance processes is a plus
  • Strong communication skills - this role handles frequent phone-based coordination and follow-up
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Background/Access Requirements
  • Candidates requiring O'Hare Airport badge access will undergo an airport-administered background check (approximately 10-year employment history & criminal check, 5-year residency history); this is conducted by O'Hare directly and does not include a drug screen for badging purposes
  • Standard company background check and any applicable drug screening requirements apply per company policy

Key Details
  • Type: Direct Hire
  • Location: Arlington Heights, IL
  • Salary: $40-$50 per hour
  • Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), Vacation, Personal/Sick Time
