Job description
Key Objectives
- Lead complex diagnostics and repairs to ensure timely and accurate service on a wide range of RV makes and models.
- Support service department performance by mentoring junior technicians and contributing to a collaborative, high-quality work environment.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship that enhances customer satisfaction and promotes repeat business.
Responsibilities
- Inspect units for customer sales
- Learn and execute a Get Ready and customer orientation
- Diagnose and repair RV systems including but not limited to: electric (AC/DC), plumbing, propane, appliances, HVAC, chassis, and structural components.
- Install aftermarket accessories such as solar panels, satellite systems, leveling jacks, hitches, and awnings.
- Complete pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and prepare units for customer delivery.
- Maintain accurate service records, parts usage, and time tracking.
- Provide guidance and on-the-job training to entry-level and mid-level technicians.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and dealership standards.
- Keep workspace organized, clean, and stocked with essential tools and materials.
What you'll bring
- 4+ years of hands-on RV repair or related mechanical/electrical experience
- Strong working knowledge of RV systems, components, and repair procedures
- RVTI certification
- Ability to work independently and as a team leader
- Have a set of personal tools
- The ability to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend for long periods of time
- The ability to lift anywhere from 25 to 50 lbs with an assistive device
- Work in environments that include heat, cold, dust, and loud noises
- Flexibility with work schedules; including Saturdays (we are always closed on Sundays)
- Neat, clean, and professional appearance
- Ability to pass a background and drug test
- Demonstrate alignment with the Company's vision, mission, and core values in all interactions
