Overview

Summary

The Machine Operator is responsible for safely operating, monitoring, and maintaining production machinery to ensure efficient and high-quality manufacturing output. This role includes setting up equipment, performing routine inspections, troubleshooting basic mechanical issues, and adhering to safety and quality standards. The Machine Operator works closely with team members and supervisors to meet production goals while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

  2. Must demonstrate clear verbal and written communication skills (English)
  3. Must be able to meet production goals and time deadlines for company projects
  4. Must be able to read and process written communication including, but not limited to, work orders, frame prints, and measurements
  5. Must be able to work under close supervision
  6. Must demonstrate production competency and knowledge of production systems
  7. Must be able to rotate to other production positions as the need arises or as deemed necessary
  8. Must be able to operate appropriate equipment including fabricating machinery, band saws, acetylene torches, tape measures, etc.
  9. Must able to physically lift and maneuver weights in excess of fifty pounds

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time 2nd SHIFT position, and hours of work are Monday-Thursday: 4:00pm - 2:00am. Friday Overtime neefrequently required to support production demands Friday 2:00p-10:00p.. The salary range for this position is $20-25/hr, with entry level wages at the lowest end of the range.

Minimal to no travel required.
