Position Overview
The Automation & Technical Support Technician will support machine operation, maintenance, system setup, and technical service activities across Greystones automation platforms. This role is ideal for a high-school graduate or entry-level college candidate (Industrial Engineering, Electronics, or related field) who is mechanically inclined, technically sharp, and quick to learn.
This is a dynamic, hands-on position requiring adaptability, travel flexibility, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Support setup, calibration, and maintenance of automated machines and robotics systems
Assist in installation and commissioning of equipment at customer sites
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and basic software issues
Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections
Assist engineering team with system upgrades and modifications
Document service activities and create clear technical reports
Provide professional on-site customer support when required
Maintain organized tools, spare parts, and work areas
Support testing, diagnostics, and system validation processes
Required Qualifications
High school diploma required
Some college coursework in Industrial Engineering, Electronics, Mechanics, or related technical field preferred
