As an Observation Registered Nurse, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional, patient-focused care in accordance with departmental requirements and state-specific standards. You will collaborate with medical professionals and the care team to provide tailored, comprehensive, and compassionate care, adhering to established nursing models such as ‘Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.’ Additionally, you will advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying our organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure a remarkable patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Evaluating the patient’s condition upon admission and during each shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in their status.
• Executing procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care in the patient’s medical record. Administering prescribed medications, monitoring the patient for therapeutic responses, and taking appropriate actions in case of adverse reactions.
• Delivering outstanding care by promptly addressing patient requests, proactively anticipating their needs, and resolving issues as they arise.
• Educating patients, families, and caregivers about the patient’s medical condition, treatment plan, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring they fully understand by simplifying complex medical terminology.

Qualifications Required:

• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Associate Degree in Nursing
• A minimum of 1 year of RN experience is required
