Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

As an Observation Registered Nurse, your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with departmental requirements and state-specific standards. You will collaborate with healthcare providers and the care team to deliver personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, adhering to established nursing models such as ‘Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.’ Additionally, you will advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying our organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure an exceptional patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Evaluating the patient's condition upon admission and during each shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in status.
  • Executing procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of care in the patient's medical record. Administering prescribed medications, monitoring for therapeutic responses, and taking appropriate actions in case of adverse reactions.
  • Delivering outstanding care by responding swiftly to patient requests, anticipating their needs, and addressing them proactively.
  • Educating patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plan, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up care, ensuring clarity by simplifying complex medical terminology.

Qualifications Required:

  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • A minimum of 1 year of RN experience is required
