Travel RN-MS jobs in Decatur, GA let you care for patients on the DEC-4400 Stroke/Tele unit, a 24-bed designated stroke unit that also serves those with neurological conditions, low-risk cardiac diagnoses, and other medical needs. You will assess, monitor, and deliver treatments, documenting all care in the electronic medical record (EMR). To qualify, you need a current Georgia RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and at least 1 year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience. Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications are required. Experience with EMR systems and strong clinical assessment skills are necessary. Recommended skills include adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to support patients through complex neurological and cardiac recovery.
