Role Description This is a remote, contract role for a Medical Device Sales Representative. The individual in this role will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and driving sales of medical devices to healthcare providers and facilities. Day-to-day activities include scheduling and conducting virtual and on-site meetings with surgeons, nurses, and purchasing teams; presenting product features and benefits; providing product demonstrations and in-servicing; and supporting the adoption and proper use of devices. The role involves working closely with operating room staff and orthopedic specialists, responding promptly to inquiries, coordinating product trials, and ensuring timely follow-up. The representative will maintain accurate records in CRM systems, monitor territory performance, and collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs and support product launches.

Qualifications

  • Strong Medical Sales and general Sales skills, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Knowledge of Orthopedics and the Operating Room environment, including familiarity with surgical workflows and protocols.
  • Understanding of Medicine and clinical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build long-term professional relationships.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a remote, contract capacity.
  • Experience working with medical devices or in healthcare-related sales is strongly preferred.
