RN's - Hospital Per Diem Openings for Med/Surg, L&D, ED

Registered Nurses are expected to manage various responsibilities while delivering safe, competent, and compassionate care to diverse patient populations in settings such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and rehabilitation centers. RNs should be able to:

  • Demonstrate clinical judgment within an evidence-based practice.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare staff to improve patient outcomes.
  • Deliver care that meets the unique faith and cultural needs of patients.
  • Apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills in all patient care situations.

Basic Job Requirements:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in nursing from an accredited program
  • Active, unencumbered RN license from the state in which you plan to work
  • Minimum 6 months of RN work experience
  • Push, pull, support, and lift a minimum of 80 pounds
  • Physical stamina to handle long hours of standing and walking
  • Current CPR certification (Basic Life Support preferred)
  • Annual physical (where required)
  • Negative TB test results
  • Clean background check
  • COVID-19 Vaccination (where required)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ongoing patient assessment and observation to ensure optimum health levels.

  • Collaborating as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Ongoing flexibility regarding patient assignments, floating, and related staffing issues.
