Position: Registered Nurse

Location: Denville, NJ & Passaic, NJ

Department: Cath Lab

Shifts Available: Days, 8 hour shifts

Pay: up to $2,116 to $2,746 gross per week 

Assignment Length: 12 weeks

Responsibilities

The Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. The RN works collaboratively with physicians, technologists, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure safe, efficient, and effective delivery of care in the Cardiovascular Laboratory. This position requires advanced clinical skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to excellence in patient outcomes.

  • Provide direct patient care before, during, and after cardiac and vascular procedures.
  • Address the physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients in the procedural environment.
  • Monitor and record hemodynamic and physiologic data, responding promptly to changes in patient condition.
  • Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker insertions, and angioplasties.
  • Prepare, assess, and maintain procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies for each case.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold all regulatory and hospital standards.
  • Participate in performance improvement and quality assurance activities to enhance patient safety and departmental operations.
  • Demonstrate effective communication and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  • Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License; required.
  • Current BCLS, ACLS certificate upon hire required.
  • One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work required.
