We currently have an opening for a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pediatric Orthopedic Outpatient Clinic Team.  The Clinic RN is accountable for the coordination of nursing care for children with orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions, including patient assessment, direct patient care, patient/family education, medication administration, triage via phone/EMR/in person, procedural support, documentation, and collaboration with members of the multidisciplinary team.  May support additional administrative and operational duties as requested. 

Schedule: Full-time M-F (in-person)

Holidays: 9 observed holidays per year

Compensation: Pay range for this position is $34.90/hr - $52.35/hr.    The hired applicant's placement within the range is based on qualifications, professional experience, internal equity and education.  


  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Collects and analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis/issues.  Assesses comprehensive data including but not limited to physical, psychosocial, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual needs and interprets assessment information to derive the diagnosis or issues as defined by the patient’s condition. 
  • Outcomes Identification and Planning: Identifies expected outcomes and develops a plan that prescribes strategies which address health promotion and restoration, health maintenance, or health related problems or issues and alternatives to attain expected outcomes
  • Implementation and Coordination of Care Delivery: Implements the identified plan and coordinates care delivery
  • Health Teaching and Health Promotion: Employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.  Utilizes teaching strategies appropriate to the individual patient’s condition and learning needs. 
  • Evaluation: Evaluates progress toward attainment of outcomes

Qualifications & Requirements

Licensure:   Active RN license in the state of Utah

Education:   BSN preferred 

Certifications:   Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire

Experience:   1-2 years in ambulatory or outpatient setting preferred

                        Pediatric and orthopedic experience preferred

Skills:   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, proficiency with EMR systems
