Location: Evanston, IL

Full Time/Part Time: Full Time

Hours: Monday-Friday, 0800-1630

Required Travel: Evanston, Highland Park and Swedish Hospitals

A Brief Overview:

The RN Clinical Data Registrar will play a crucial role in our hospital's data management processes, ensuring the

accurate collection, organization, and reporting of clinical patient data. This position is essential for maintaining

the integrity of our clinical data and supporting decision-making and quality improvement efforts.

What you will do:

Collaborate with clinical staff to collect and record clinical patient data from various sources, including

medical records, clinical assessments, and physician notes, following established protocols.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical data in the hospital's electronic health record system, ensuring

data consistency, accuracy, and completeness.

Generate and submit timely and accurate clinical reports for quality improvement initiatives, regulatory

requirements, and research projects.

Monitor data accuracy and completeness, provide feedback to clinical staff, and facilitate corrections as

needed to ensure data integrity.

Assist in research projects and studies related to clinical outcomes, patient care, and treatment

effectiveness, contributing to evidence-based healthcare.

Train and educate clinical staff on the importance of accurate data collection and documentation to support

research and compliance.

Collaborate closely with clinical staff, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure

comprehensive and accurate clinical data capture.

Maintain strict confidentiality and security of patient data in compliance with HIPAA and other privacy

What you will need:

  • Bachelors Degree Nursing Required
  • 2 Years Clinical nursing experience, with a strong background in data collection and clinical documentation.
  • Minimum of three years current experience in: Labor and Delivery, NICU or Maternal Child Health Nursing
  • Registered Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) Required
  • Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association
