Position Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry

Location: St. Helena, CA

Department/Unit: Telemetry Unit

Shift: Night Shift 1800 - 0630 , 36-48 hours per week,

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Salary Range: $40 - $50 per hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry to join our team in St. Helena, CA. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced telemetry environment. This position offers an opportunity to work with a supportive healthcare team while delivering critical care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and assess patients with cardiac conditions, interpreting telemetry data and vital signs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Educate patients and families about their conditions, treatment options, and health management strategies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Respond to emergencies and changes in patient conditions promptly and effectively.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Qualifications:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of St. Helena, CA.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
  • tele experience/float to MS;EKG, IV, Cardiac patients
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with significant experience in telemetry preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
