Position Summary:

Delta Community Supports, Inc. is seeking a caring and skilled Community Center Professional (CCP).  Reporting to the Program Specialist, the CCP promotes the community support of people with developmental and intellectual disabilities by providing direct care and training of individuals in a program setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage individuals according to our mission.
  • Utilize programmatic resources.
  • Monitor the implementation of high quality individual support plans.
  • Promote and follow Delta’s Risk Management Program for the health and safety of individuals and employees.
  • Maintain all required training per Delta policy and state regulations.
  • Provide for the care, safety and well-being of individuals who attend the Community Center, participate in Community Participation Supports in the community, and receive In Home Supports.
  • Work cooperatively with other Community Support Professionals in the implementation of various activities for groups of individuals.
  • Conduct and write annual interest/skill assessments for assigned individuals.
  • Participate as a team member in the individualized program ISP/ICP process for assigned individuals.
  • Implement ISP/ICP outcomes and other specified supports for designated individuals.
  • Complete routinely required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Actively participate in routinely scheduled meetings and trainings.
  • Communicate continuously with your Supervisor.

We believe in rewarding experience and professional development. Our tiered compensation structure ensures you are paid fairly from day one:

  • Entry Level: $16.00 / hour (No experience required—we provide the training!)
  • Experienced (2+ years): $17.00 / hour
  • Certified Professionals: $19.00 / hour (For candidates with active NADSP or CNA certifications)
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • At least two (2) years’ experience in the field of intellectual disabilities.
  • Ability to exert up to fifty (50) pounds of force (lifting) on a routine basis.
  • Valid driver’s license in the state of residence.

Retention Bonus & Employment Commitment

To support workforce stability and continuity of care for the individuals we serve, Delta Community
Supports, Inc. is pleased to offer you a retention bonus totaling $2,000, subject to applicable taxes and
withholdings.

The bonus will be paid in three installments:

  • $500 after successful completion of 6 months of employment
  • $500 after successful completion of 12 months of employment
  • $1,000 after successful completion of 18 months of employment
    To be eligible for each payment and to maintain the bonus, you must:
  • Remain actively employed in good standing
  • Work an average of at least 30 hours per week during the applicable employment period.
