Job description


Join Wholesale Credit Risk Reporting, a global team within Risk Reporting Middle Office that supports JPMorgan Chase's risk management strategy through changing market conditions by delivering critical Firmwide and Wholesale reporting for internal and regulatory needs. You will have opportunities to lead, own processes, and drive improvements, as the team supports a wide range of risk types across all businesses the bank offers.

As an Analyst within the Credit Risk Reporting team in the Risk Reporting Middle Office, you will dive into credit risk data and help turn it into clear, actionable insights for senior leaders. You will leverage automation to streamline reporting and enhance accuracy, working closely with colleagues across functions to ensure our reports are timely and meaningful. By upholding the highest standards of data quality and controls, your contributions will help build a culture of transparency, ownership, and continuous improvement.
 

Job Responsibilities
    Analyze credit risk data to produce accurate, actionable reporting and insights
    Develop and refine reporting processes and workflows to improve efficiency and consistency
    Automate recurring reporting to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy and timeliness
    Consolidate data from multiple sources and translate results into clear stakeholder-ready narratives
    Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align on definitions, controls, and reporting requirements
    Monitor data quality and perform controls to uphold reporting standards
    Document procedures, assumptions, and control evidence to support auditability and governance
    Support internal policy and regulatory reporting needs through accurate, innovative, and timely deliverables
    Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive enhancements through execution
 

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
    Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline
   Minimum 1 year of experience in reporting, financial analytics, or a related role
    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and broader Microsoft Office tools
    Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across departments
    Critical thinking and ability to work independently to drive issues to resolution
    Ability to prioritize work and deliver continuous process improvements
    High attention to detail with a strong commitment to data quality and controls
    Adaptability and learning mindset, including eagerness to learn new technologies
 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
    Experience with Tableau, Alteryx
    Background in risk management or risk-related functions
