Job description

Liquid Personnel is seeking a dynamic Occupational Therapist to join an Acute Mental Health team of a Forensic unit in Suffolk, where your expertise will support adults in crisis through meaningful, recovery-focused interventions. What will your responsibilities be?

In this role, you will support adults with complex mental health needs, delivering therapeutic interventions in acute or forensic settings. You will conduct risk assessments, apply the Mental Health Act effectively, and work both independently and as part of a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT), which includes professionals such as psychiatrists, nurses, and psychologists. You will prioritize caseloads, facilitate group sessions, and contribute to secure, recovery-focused environments. To succeed, you'll need registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), a degree in Occupational Therapy, and excellent communication, organizational, and prioritization skills to navigate the dynamic demands of this role.

Qualifications and Experience:
